About the role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join Global Wave Group in Albany, Auckland. The role is office‑based and reports to the Head of Data, focusing on cleaning, transforming and visualising data to support business decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Clean, transform, and organise data from multiple sources.
- Support data validation, quality assurance, and error‑checking processes.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Conduct basic statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Prepare data‑driven insights and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and ad‑hoc data requests.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related disciplines (fresh graduates welcome).
- Proficient in Excel with a solid foundation in SQL.
- Familiar with data tools such as Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in English and Mandarin.
