Cyber Security Advisory Specialist

About the role

The AA is seeking a Cyber Security Advisory Specialist to champion secure‑by‑design practices across the organisation. You will act as a trusted advisor to technology and business teams, helping embed security into every solution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security advisory for key initiatives and shape enterprise security architecture.
• Partner with architects and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with security principles while balancing risk and delivery timelines.
• Provide guidance, assurance and constructive challenge to integrate effective controls and uplift security maturity.
• Support security incident response and contribute to vendor assessments.
• Influence the cyber security roadmap by bringing insight on emerging threats and improving security delivery at scale.

Required profile

• Seasoned cyber security professional with strong technical expertise and commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to operate at a senior advisory level and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid understanding of industry security frameworks and standards.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, practical insights.
