Customer Service Representative – Automotive Parts

About the role

This full‑time position (Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm with alternate Saturday mornings) is based in Nelson and focuses on delivering outstanding service to trade customers in the automotive parts sector. You will assist customers in selecting the right parts, process orders, and help grow sales through upselling.

Key responsibilities

• Serve trade customers at the counter and over the phone.
• Guide customers to the correct vehicle parts and solutions.
• Pick, pack and process customer orders accurately.
• Identify upsell opportunities and recommend related products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a loyal customer base.

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience, preferably in automotive or trade environments.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑first mindset – everyone pitches in.
• Full New Zealand driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Computer proficiency, including basic Excel.
