Customer Experience Associate – Retail (Part‑time)

About the role

This part‑time position supports Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga’s commitment to delivering an affordable, seamless DIY experience. Working up to 16 hours per week, you will engage directly with customers, maintain store presentation, and assist colleagues across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional frontline service, process transactions and respond to customer enquiries.
• Assist customers with directions, carry‑out support and general store assistance.
• Collect, return and organise trolleys in car‑parks and trolley bays, ensuring availability and safety.
• Maintain clean, hazard‑free trolley areas, entry points and surrounding environments.
• Support overall store presentation by keeping entry points tidy and well‑stocked with trolleys.
• Collaborate with team members on restocking, cleaning and busy‑period operations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, especially when working outdoors.
