ANZ is hiring a Consultant - Small Business Banking in Lower Hutt (New Zealand). The role delivers an exceptional customer experience by meeting the financial needs of clients through tailored solutions across business banking, home loans, insurance and investment products. It builds trusted relationships and drives positive outcomes through strong lending capability, proactive portfolio management and compliant, sustainable results. The position is permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and meet the needs of current and potential customers through quality conversations.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of bank processes, products and services to identify business customers' needs effectively and confidently.
• Provide market-leading service and refer queries and requests to colleagues in the branch and across other business units.
• Take responsibility for knowing your customer from a risk perspective.
• Demonstrate the ANZ values with customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• Ideally business and home lending capabilities.
• Excellent relationship and networking skills.
• Strong customer focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Not expected to have all of these; a growth mindset is valued.
