Channel Scheduling Specialist – Retail

About the role

One NZ is looking for a Channel Scheduling Specialist – Retail to ensure frontline retail teams are scheduled efficiently and supported to deliver a seamless omni‑channel customer experience. You will work closely with the Senior Scheduling Specialist to coordinate daily rostering across touch, talk, and type channels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain workforce schedules in line with weekly and daily operational requirements while complying with NZ labour laws and company policies.
• Prioritise incoming work from shared inboxes and team emails to keep scheduling activity moving efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, boost productivity and operational efficiency.
• Provide regular reporting on workforce utilisation, schedule adherence, overtime and absenteeism to business stakeholders.
• Communicate clear, practical schedules to frontline teams with maximum lead time.

Required profile

• Proven experience in workforce scheduling or management within a retail or customer‑facing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to analyse data to drive effective scheduling decisions.
• Experience in high‑volume, fast‑paced settings with shifting priorities.
• Understanding of NZ labour laws and retail compliance.
• Focus on accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement.
