Casual Sales Assistant (Retail)

About the role

Bonds is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Sales Assistant to join its Manawa Bay outlet. This flexible, part‑time role involves working across days, evenings and weekends to deliver a welcoming in‑store experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to help customers feel comfortable and confident.
• Maintain store presentation, stock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale system to process transactions accurately.
• Support team members proactively, stepping in when needed without being asked.
• Participate in store promotions and incentive‑based competitions.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for retail and customer service.
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to learn on the job; previous fashion retail experience is a plus but not essential.

Required skills

• Basic point‑of‑sale (POS) operation.
