Casual Sales Assistant – Manukau

About the role

Join JD Sports in Manukau as a Casual Sales Assistant, where you will be the face of the brand and deliver an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. This role involves working a roster of shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, consistently showing positivity and professionalism.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Provide personalised 1:1 customer service and process sales transactions.
• Collaborate with store management and team members to achieve KPIs and sales targets.
• Support visual merchandising, store cleanliness and presentation.
• Escalate customer complaints to management when required.
• Complete mandatory training on product, policy and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar environment.
• Passion for sports fashion and familiarity with key brands.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and ability to work well within a team.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing retail setting.
• Flexible availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
