Casual Registered Nurse – Flexible Shifts

About the role

Ryman is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to join its team at Grace Joel Retirement Village in St Heliers, Auckland. This role offers flexible, shift‑based work in a supportive environment where you can provide high‑quality care to residents across the continuum of aged‑care services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, resident‑focused nursing care that meets Ryman’s "good enough for mum and dad" standard.
• Assess residents, develop and review individualized care plans.
• Administer treatments, medications and ongoing support.
• Utilise the purpose‑built "myRyman Care" mobile application for documentation and communication.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators to ensure seamless care delivery.

Required profile

• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) as a Registered Nurse.
• Reliable, friendly and professional manner with a commitment to high‑quality resident care.
• Ability to work effectively within a supportive, team‑oriented environment.
• New Zealand work rights (overseas candidates must already hold these rights).

Required skills

• Proficiency with the “myRyman Care” mobile application.

• Hourly rate of $36.72‑$52.02 plus 40 % weekend loading and $10 per hour night‑shift allowance.
