Casual Registered Nurse – Flexible Shifts

About the role

Palms Lifecare is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to join our modern 118‑bed care home and hospital in South Auckland. This flexible, as‑needed position offers AM, PM, night and weekend shifts, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of caregivers to deliver high‑quality care.
• Develop, monitor, and update individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and document findings.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families, and GPs.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or abroad.
• Current APC registration.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for caring for people and a collaborative team spirit.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and continuous improvement.

Required skills
