About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Care Manager to join our 50‑bed residential aged care service in North Queensland. This senior registered nurse position offers a step‑up opportunity to lead care management under the guidance of an experienced Service Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high‑quality resident care.
  • Coordinate care plans and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Manage staff scheduling, performance, and professional development.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.

Required profile

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Significant experience in aged care or similar clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.

Required skills

    What we offer

    • Hourly rate of $62 plus superannuation.
    • $5,000 relocation assistance.
    • Monday‑Friday schedule with no on‑call duties.
    • Mentorship from an experienced Service Manager to develop care management expertise.
