Business Systems Trainer – Fixed Term

About the role

The Business Systems Trainer will support New Zealand's International Development Cooperation Programme by designing, delivering and evaluating learning solutions that enhance staff capability across the Pacific and globally. This fixed‑term position works closely with subject‑matter experts and senior advisers to ensure training aligns with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging classroom, online and e‑learning programmes that build confidence in systems, development quality and business processes.
• Partner with stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to create high‑quality, fit‑for‑purpose training resources.
• Conduct needs analysis and translate business requirements into targeted learning approaches for diverse audiences.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training, continuously refining materials based on feedback, best practice and evolving requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and delivering effective learning solutions for international development or government programmes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with SMEs to co‑design and deliver training.
• Strong understanding of business drivers and capability development, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Commitment to continuous improvement of training solutions.
