Business Advisory Manager / Senior Manager – Auckland

About the role

Grant Thornton is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join its Business Advisory practice in Auckland. Working directly with a Partner and the regional leader, you will own client relationships, drive commercial outcomes and influence the growth of the Property & Construction advisory line.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of Property & Construction clients, overseeing both compliance and strategic advisory work.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with business owners and senior decision‑makers.
• Identify and deliver additional value‑added services, expanding the firm’s footprint.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior advisors to build the next generation of talent.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape practice strategy and service offerings.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing client engagements in a professional services environment.
• Strong commercial insight and ability to translate technical work into business recommendations.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, with experience coaching junior staff.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
