Barline Machine Operator - Afternoon Shift (2:00pm to 10:30pm)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Barline Machine Operator to join our fast‑growing production team on the afternoon shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) at our East Tamaki facility. You will operate high‑speed equipment, ensure product quality, and contribute to continuous improvement on the line.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑speed machinery safely and efficiently.
• Follow all SOPs and quality requirements, documenting processes as required.
• Set up, adjust, and improve production lines, including sheeting, mixing, enrobing, and chocolate tempering operations.
• Lift and move loads up to 25 kg regularly.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating high‑speed production machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Physically fit and able to lift 25 kg frequently.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and deadlines.
• Commitment to health & safety and continuous improvement.
