About the role

The Civil Aviation Authority is seeking motivated individuals to join its frontline team at Auckland Airport. As an Aviation Security Officer you will protect passengers, staff and assets while ensuring smooth airport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Screen passengers and baggage using specialist security equipment.
• Conduct mobile, foot and static patrols throughout the airport perimeter.
• Monitor access to secure zones and verify identification cards.
• Detect, prevent and respond to potential breaches of aviation security.

Required profile

• Team‑player who thrives in a dynamic, high‑traffic environment.
• Calm under pressure with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent situational awareness and time‑management skills.
• NZ or Australian citizenship, or NZ residency.
