Associate Director – Digital & Data Transformation

About the role

PwC is looking for an Associate Director to join its Digital & Data Transformation practice in Auckland. You will partner with senior client executives to design and deliver AI‑driven, cloud‑based transformation programmes for leading New Zealand organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end AI, cloud and digital transformation engagements, from strategy development to implementation.
• Advise senior client stakeholders on technology strategy, operating models, enterprise architecture, business cases and transformation roadmaps.
• Facilitate executive workshops, governance forums and multidisciplinary delivery teams to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Build and nurture client relationships, identify growth opportunities and contribute to proposals and practice development.
• Coach and develop high‑performing consulting teams while fostering an inclusive culture.
• Guide clients in responsible adoption of emerging technologies to improve customer, employee and business results.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience leading technology consulting, digital transformation or enterprise technology programmes.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to work with senior executives and deliver large‑scale transformation projects.
