Associate Director, Transformation Design & Delivery

About the role

Join PwC’s Transformation Design & Delivery (TDD) team in Auckland as an Associate Director. You will lead high‑impact transformation programmes, working directly with senior client stakeholders to shape strategy, governance and execution from design through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and shape major transformation programmes, establishing governance and ensuring alignment with strategic outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing insight on programme health, performance and corrective actions.
• Design and drive organisational and technology change strategies that enable large‑scale adoption and measurable business impact.
• Contribute to the growth of the TDD practice by developing people, refining methodologies and supporting go‑to‑market activities.
• Build strong client relationships, identify growth opportunities and help win new engagements.

Required profile

• Typically 10+ years of experience leading complex transformation programmes with demonstrable business outcomes.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and navigate challenging environments.
• Strong pragmatic delivery mindset and deep understanding of transformation methodologies.

Required skills

• Portfolio, Programme & Project Management (3PM) frameworks.
• PRINCE2 methodology.
• PMI/PMBOK standards.
• Agile approaches – SAFe, ICAgile, Scrum.
