AoD CEP Clinician

About the role

We are seeking an AoD CEP Clinician to join our on‑site team in Porirua. In this part‑time position you will deliver purpose‑driven counselling services that empower rangatahi and contribute to the wellbeing of Māori and Pasifika communities. You will work within a values‑led kaupapa Māori organisation that is making a real difference in the community. The role is part of a wider health team focused on equity, access, and whānau ora.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to rangatahi, focusing on mental health, resilience and personal development.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team to ensure equitable access to services and promote whānau ora.
• Apply kaupapa Māori principles in all interactions, respecting cultural values and community expectations.
• Engage with whānau and community partners to coordinate support and referrals.
• Document client progress and maintain confidentiality in line with professional standards.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing of rangatahi.
• Understanding of the realities and challenges faced by Māori and Pasifika communities.
• Commitment to equity, access and culturally responsive practice.
• Ability to work on‑site in Porirua on a part‑time schedule.
