Anaesthetic Technician – Perioperative Team

About the role

We are looking for an Anaesthetic Technician to join our dynamic peri‑operative team at Southern Cross North Harbour Hospital. Working side‑by‑side with anaesthetists, you will help deliver safe, high‑quality anaesthetic care and ensure each patient’s surgical journey runs smoothly from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with anaesthetists to provide safe, high‑quality anaesthetic care.
• Ensure the patient’s surgical journey runs smoothly from start to finish.

Required profile

• Current NZ registration as an Anaesthetic Technician with a recognised qualification, or a Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate and anaesthetic credentials.
• Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of peri‑operative anaesthetic technology and best practice.
• Ability to deliver safe, high‑quality care in a fast‑paced surgical environment.
• Excellent communication and a collaborative, team‑first approach.
• Positive, proactive mindset with a genuine commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts.
