AI Center of Excellence – Associate

About the role

Join PwC’s AI Center of Excellence in Auckland as an Associate. You will help accelerate AI adoption across the firm by designing, building and deploying AI agents that solve real business challenges. The role blends technical delivery with coaching to uplift AI capabilities across Advisory, Tax, Legal and Assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and industry teams to identify AI opportunities that address concrete problems.
• Design, develop and launch AI agents and low‑code solutions from concept through production.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, responsible AI solutions.
• Drive AI adoption through demos, user support, coaching and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Continuously improve solutions by troubleshooting, incorporating feedback and creating reusable assets.

Required profile

• A qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong interest in AI, automation and low‑code development demonstrated through study, projects or work experience.
• Ability to translate business problems into practical technical solutions with analytical rigor.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience in professional services, client‑facing work or technology‑enabled business transformation.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI tools and low‑code platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Claude Code, ChatGPT or Codex.
• Working knowledge of APIs and workflow automation tools.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles.
