AI Adoption & Transformation Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

Be a catalyst for AI-driven change at PwC New Zealand. In this client‑facing role you will help organisations translate AI advances into practical business value, building leadership understanding, workforce capability and new ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate executive education sessions for boards and senior leaders, turning complex AI developments into clear business language.
• Lead hands‑on AI upskilling workshops using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
• Identify high‑value AI opportunities across finance, accounting, tax, legal, risk and operations.
• Run AI strategy and Responsible AI workshops to set priorities, guardrails and adoption pathways.
• Help clients move from simple prompting to building custom assistants, agents and repeatable AI‑enabled workflows.
• Redesign workflows with client teams, combining human expertise and AI capabilities.
• Design, test and advise on human‑led AI assistants and agents with appropriate controls.
• Stay current on AI developments and translate insights into actionable client advice.
• Develop reusable methods, training materials and coach junior team members.

Required profile

• Professional services experience at Manager or Senior Manager level with ownership of engagements and trusted client relationships.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, comfortable engaging with practitioners through to executives and boards.
• Ability to explain complex ideas simply without losing substance.
• Genuine enthusiasm for technology and helping others adopt AI effectively.

Required skills

• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
