About the role

Join Baker Tilly Staples Rodway’s Accounting Graduate Programme and launch your career in February 2027. You will rotate through audit and business advisory teams, receive structured training, and work alongside industry experts on real client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in structured training sessions with a dedicated buddy and mentor.
• Build relationships with clients and support them across various industries.
• Assist in preparing and completing sets of accounts for diverse sectors.
• Identify and propose value‑add opportunities to enhance client businesses.
• Develop technical and commercial knowledge through hands‑on project work.

Required profile

• Final‑year university student or graduate within the past 24 months.
• Interest in pursuing Chartered Accountant qualification (CA ANZ or CPA pathway).
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Relevant part‑time work, volunteer experience, or extracurricular involvement.
• Initiative, adaptability, strong analytical thinking and effective communication.
