Account Manager – North Shore Territory

About the role

Service Foods is seeking an Account Manager to own and grow its North Shore territory, covering the area from the Harbour Bridge to Orewa. This role blends account management with proactive new‑business development in a fast‑moving, highly competitive foodservice market.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand a customer portfolio across a broad foodservice territory.
• Manage existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
• Implement structured call cycles with weekly and fortnightly engagement.
• Build strong relationships with restaurants, bakeries, and takeaway outlets.
• Collaborate with internal support teams, including telesales, to maximise territory coverage.
• Operate in a price‑sensitive market, focusing on value‑based selling.
• Manage a complex product offering and identify revenue‑growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Commercially driven, energetic sales professional.
• Proven success in sales, account management or business development.
• Strong relationship‑building and trust‑creation skills.
• Proactive, disciplined approach to territory management and call planning.
• Confidence in identifying and converting new business opportunities.
