About the role

Carters, a trusted building supplier in Whangarei, is looking for an Account Manager to build and nurture trade relationships, drive sales, and generate new business. You will work on‑site, managing your own call cycle and customer portfolio while leveraging the strength of a 150‑year‑old market leader.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own call cycle and customer portfolio autonomously.
• Develop and maintain strong trade relationships with builders, contractors, and suppliers.
• Drive sales performance and identify new business opportunities in the Whangarei region.
• Collaborate with the national network to maximise the benefits of Carters' long‑standing reputation.

Required profile

• Proactive and self‑motivated approach to account management.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site full time in Whangarei Central.
