Account Manager

About the role

Digitas New Zealand is seeking an Account Manager who thrives in a fast‑paced agency environment and enjoys turning digital briefs into successful campaigns. You will work with well‑known New Zealand brands across CRM, website updates and integrated digital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the day‑to‑day client contact, owning briefs, communications and delivery.
• Run projects end‑to‑end across CRM, digital and web channels.
• Translate client briefs into clear, actionable direction for internal teams.
• Manage timelines, priorities and multiple workstreams to keep projects on track.
• Lead work‑in‑progress (WIP) sessions and handle feedback confidently.
• Collaborate closely with creative, strategy and production to ensure high‑quality output.

Required profile

• Experience in a digital or creative agency environment.
• Strong grounding in digital marketing, CRM and website delivery.
• Comfortable managing several projects simultaneously without dropping the ball.
• Confident working directly with clients and diverse stakeholder styles.
• Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous briefs and keep work progressing.
• Highly organised, detail‑focused and able to perform under pressure.
• Exposure to large, enterprise‑level brands is a plus.
