Account Manager - Export

About the role

Kraft Heinz is hiring a permanent Account Manager - Export for its New Zealand Sales team, based in Newmarket. The role leads customer negotiations and builds strong customer relationships while seeking new business. It offers a flexible arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer negotiations, maximising NSV and CMA of the portfolio and meeting or exceeding monthly and annual KPIs
• Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in volume, LSV, NSV and CMA for each customer portfolio
• Manage marketing budgets, trade spend and claims efficiently
• Build and maintain customer relationships and establish new business
• Liaise with marketing, demand planning, logistics and customer service to deliver plans smoothly
• Own delivery of annual NSV and CMA targets and track key KPIs
• Provide category and SKU-level inputs to demand planning and deliver weekly, monthly and annual sales performance reports
• Develop Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key customers and run tactical customer marketing programmes
• Set pricing, manage promotions, grow distribution of new products, optimise assortment and ensure compliance with local regulations
• Coordinate order execution with customer service, credit and pricing, and onboard new distributors through market research, negotiation and contracts

Required profile

• Resilient, energetic, confident, curious and eager to learn, with attention to detail
• Organised, analytical, good listening skills
• Negotiating and stakeholder management skills
• 3-5 years in sales, marketing or business development (FMCG or FMCG distributor)
• Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business is a plus
