Account Manager – Domestic Building Segment (NZ)

About the role

Join a leading water and pumping solutions provider as an Account Manager for the Domestic Building Segment in New Zealand. You will develop new business and nurture key customer relationships across the North Island, promoting innovative pump solutions for homes and buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the Grundfos Domestic Building Services pump range to distributors, wholesalers and key customers across the North Island.
• Achieve sales targets by expanding existing distributor partnerships and identifying new opportunities.
• Manage the full technical sales process using CRM tools, from lead generation to closing.
• Identify and present tailored pumping solutions across multiple product categories.
• Deliver marketing programs and foster long‑term customer loyalty.
• Travel regularly throughout the North Island, including overnight trips to regional areas.

Required profile

• 3+ years of sales experience in pumps, plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, wastewater, hydraulics or related water industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel overnight.
• Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) systems and compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Knowledge of OH&S systems.
