Technology Project Manager – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term in Auckland

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Technology Project Manager to lead and oversee key technology initiatives in Auckland. This 12‑month fixed‑term position will ensure projects align with ANZ’s technology strategy and are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and monitor comprehensive project plans, including integrated change control.
• Coordinate resources, vendors, and contractors across multiple work streams.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, fostering an environment of openness, trust, and collaboration.
• Ensure accurate and transparent reporting of project status, risks, and issues.
• Align project objectives with organisational strategic goals and communicate vision to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large, complex projects in dynamic environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams at all organisational levels.
• Experience working in the banking or financial services sector is advantageous.
