About the role
The Team Leader Three Waters Administration will head a small, knowledgeable team within the Three Waters operational function of Whakatāne District Council. This full‑time, permanent position focuses on delivering high‑quality administrative support, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring the depot complies with health and safety legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small team to provide efficient administrative services for the Three Waters program.
- Manage customer queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Maintain the depot environment in line with health, safety and legislative requirements.
- Coordinate priorities and workloads to meet business outcomes and community needs.
- Ensure records are filed correctly and in accordance with council and legislative standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading staff.
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in customer service and office administration.
- Understanding of key legislation governing council operations.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative attitude and a solid work ethic.
