Structural Engineer – Intermediate (2-5 yrs NZ experience)

About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer with 2 to 5 years of New Zealand experience to join a well‑regarded consulting engineering practice in Christchurch. You will work on commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and complex new‑build projects, receiving strong mentorship from a senior CPEng Structural Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structural designs for commercial and industrial projects.
• Prepare and review design documentation.
• Support project delivery under senior engineer supervision.

Required profile

• BEng degree from the University of Canterbury or University of Auckland.
• 2–5 years of NZ consulting engineering experience.
• Experience in commercial and industrial building design.
• Excellent communication skills.
