STMS – Traffic Management Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced STMS with a CAT A/B Practicing warrant to join our traffic services team in Rolleston. You will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of traffic management sites, including complex setups on all‑level roads.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, monitor and remove traffic management sites across a large geographical area.
• Conduct site checks and adapt to changing road and construction conditions.
• Coordinate with civil and construction teams to ensure seamless traffic flow.
• Maintain relationships with CCC, CTOC and other road‑controlling authorities.

Required profile

• STMS CAT A/B Practicing warrant (essential).
• 2‑3 years practical experience with a working knowledge of CoPTTM.
• Class 2 driver licence (desirable) and ability to travel long distances.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts, including weekends.
• Physically fit, self‑motivated and health‑and‑safety conscious.

Required skills

• CoPTTM (Code of Practice for Traffic Management).
• Procore online project management system.
