Senior Process Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Process Manager for a brand‑new Milk Protein Concentrate (MPC) plant in the central North Island of New Zealand. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead end‑to‑end processing operations, ensuring production targets, quality, safety and environmental standards are met while acting as the primary technical contact for Tier 1 customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support daily processing operations on‑site.
• Ensure compliance with production, quality, safety and environmental obligations.
• Serve as the main technical liaison for Tier 1 customers.
• Drive continuous improvement, asset performance and team capability.
• Deliver key manufacturing KPIs aligned with business strategy.
• Manage projects and processes related to MPC production.
• Oversee ultrafiltration, diafiltration, evaporation and spray‑drying operations.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, science, manufacturing or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years operational experience in dairy manufacturing.
• At least 5 years of team leadership or proven influencing skills.
• Minimum 5 years experience specifically in Milk Protein Concentrate processing.
• Hands‑on experience with industrial‑scale separation and drying processes.
• Project and process management experience.
