Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a driven Senior Finance Business Partner to join our finance team in Wellington. You will work closely with business units, providing analysis and insights that shape strategic decisions and drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clear monthly financial reporting and analysis of revenue, margin and trends.
• Track and report financial and non‑financial KPIs to highlight successes and identify risks.
• Partner with business units to improve financial accuracy and overall performance.
• Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasting for revenue, gross margin, expenses and EBITDA.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and systems for efficient, cost‑effective support.

Required profile

• Strong experience in commercial financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or services.
• Proven record of delivering financial reporting, providing commercially‑focused recommendations and producing budgets.
• Ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders.
• CA qualified (or equivalent) with solid understanding of accounting and reporting principles.
• Hands‑on experience processing journals, reviewing AP runs and supporting day‑to‑day finance operations.
