Project Manager – Civil Construction

About the role

Whitestone Contracting Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Civil Division in Alexandra. The role will support the company’s ambitious growth plans across the Lower South Island by leading tendering, planning and delivery of civil, roading and 3 Waters projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pricing, planning and tendering for a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Manage project resources, budgets and schedules to ensure targets are met safely.
• Identify and resolve field issues, conduct risk and opportunity analysis.
• Develop efficient work teams and monitor progress using appropriate technologies.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualification (BE, NZCE Civil, Diploma) or comparable industry experience.
• Proven experience in civil construction, roading or 3 Waters projects (preferred).
• Experience with tendering to local authorities, NZTA or private clients (preferred).
• Strong commitment to health and safety and ability to meet performance targets.
