About the role

The Pricing & Portfolio Analytics Team Manager (Domestic) leads a high‑performing team that delivers data‑driven insights to improve pricing outcomes and portfolio performance for FMG’s domestic products. Reporting to the Head of Pricing & Portfolio Analytics, the role is central to executing FMG’s Pricing Strategy while ensuring technical robustness and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear direction, coaching, and leadership to the Domestic Pricing & Portfolio Analytics team.
• Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client focus aligned with FMG’s values.
• Support delivery of initiatives that follow FMG’s Pricing Strategy.
• Ensure pricing approaches meet regulatory requirements and FMG‑specific obligations.
• Lead design, development, and continuous improvement of pricing models and frameworks.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong background in insurance pricing, actuarial, or related disciplines.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into high‑quality analytical outcomes.
• Confident working across business, analytics, and leadership teams, influencing at all levels.
• Collaborative leader who builds capability and fosters a high‑performing team environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights clearly.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., actuarial, statistics, data science) or equivalent experience.
