About the role
The Pharmacy Technician Tutor will join NZMA’s Auckland campus to deliver the Pharmacy Technician programme. You will share your extensive community pharmacy experience and help students develop the practical and theoretical skills required for a successful career.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and practical sessions covering anatomy, physiology, OTC products, dispensing techniques and calculations.
- Teach compliance packaging, compounding methods and relevant pharmacy legislation.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Campus Manager to continuously improve the programme.
Required profile
- Registered New Zealand Pharmacist or experienced Pharmacy Technician with NZ Certificate Level 5 or NZ Diploma Level 6.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with a diverse student cohort.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn adult‑teaching techniques.
