About the role
Join sKids to create a safe, fun and engaging environment for children in out‑of‑school care programmes across New Zealand. Multiple part‑time positions are available depending on your experience and availability.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and support activities such as arts & crafts, sports, games, cooking and creative play.
- Supervise children, ensuring safety, wellbeing and enjoyment.
- Use positive behaviour guidance to support children with diverse needs.
- Build relationships with parents, caregivers and school staff.
- For managerial roles, oversee day‑to‑day programme operations from set‑up to pack‑down and guide team members.
Required profile
- Legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Reliable transport to sKids central sites.
- Availability from 2:30 pm on weekdays (essential).
- Positive, energetic and can‑do attitude.
- Experience in childcare, education, coaching, camps or similar.
- Leadership or supervisory experience for manager positions (must be 20 years or older).
