Out of School Programme Staff – Multiple Roles

About the role

Join sKids to create a safe, fun and engaging environment for children in out‑of‑school care programmes across New Zealand. Multiple part‑time positions are available depending on your experience and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and support activities such as arts & crafts, sports, games, cooking and creative play.
• Supervise children, ensuring safety, wellbeing and enjoyment.
• Use positive behaviour guidance to support children with diverse needs.
• Build relationships with parents, caregivers and school staff.
• For managerial roles, oversee day‑to‑day programme operations from set‑up to pack‑down and guide team members.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Reliable transport to sKids central sites.
• Availability from 2:30 pm on weekdays (essential).
• Positive, energetic and can‑do attitude.
• Experience in childcare, education, coaching, camps or similar.
• Leadership or supervisory experience for manager positions (must be 20 years or older).
