About the role
The Online Assistant supports Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand’s e‑commerce fulfilment centre by picking and packing customer orders accurately and safely. You will work on the warehouse floor, ensuring that online shoppers receive the right products on time while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Pick items from store shelves according to online orders.
- Pack orders securely, label them and prepare for dispatch.
- Check product availability and communicate out‑of‑stock or substitution needs to the relevant department.
- Follow health and safety procedures to protect yourself and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of picked and packed items.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to make customer‑first decisions.
- Comfortable standing and moving on your feet for the entire shift.
- Effective communicator who works well within a team.
- Positive attitude, friendly smile and willingness to follow processes.
