On-Site Tech Solutions Specialist

About the role

As an On‑Site Tech Solutions Specialist you will be the face of Noel Leeming’s technology services, delivering live demonstrations, advice and installations for customers in our Mt Maunganui store. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 45 hours per week, providing end‑to‑end support for a range of consumer tech products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct live product demonstrations and provide expert advice to customers.
• Deliver, install and configure technology purchases such as Wi‑Fi, TV, PC and audio systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on‑site and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Operate company vehicles safely, adhering to a clean New Zealand driver’s licence requirement.
• Perform heavy lifting, climb ladders and remain on your feet for extended periods as needed.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive “get it done” attitude and strong work ethic.
• Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence and legal right to work in NZ for at least 24 months.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role.

Required skills

• Experience installing and setting up Wi‑Fi, TV, PC and audio equipment.
• Knowledge of Apple iOS/macOS environments.
• Familiarity with device‑management tools such as Jamf, Google Admin and Microsoft Admin.
