Marketing Automation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join a purpose‑driven brand with a strong digital presence across New Zealand. Working within a collaborative marketing team, you will help deliver data‑led, personalised digital communications that engage customers across email and other direct channels.

Key responsibilities

• Execute targeted digital campaigns via email and other direct communication channels.
• Build and optimise customer journeys using marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar tools.
• Create and refine audience segments from customer data to improve campaign targeting.
• Support A/B testing, analyse results and continuously optimise campaign performance.
• Ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule and adhere to brand and content guidelines.
• Collaborate with content, analytics and digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Prepare reporting and share insights to drive future improvements.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in campaign delivery or marketing automation.
• Familiarity with marketing technology platforms (e.g., CMS, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and experience building or setting up campaigns.
• Understanding of e‑mail direct marketing best practices and a keen interest in automation.
• Analytical mindset with experience supporting A/B testing or performance optimisation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
