Maintenance Manager – Liveable Streets

About the role

Higgins is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the Liveable Streets road maintenance contract in Drury. You will oversee day‑to‑day delivery of maintenance activities across a large network, ensuring work is well planned, efficient, and meets high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage maintenance programmes to achieve delivery targets.
• Lead supervisors, organise crews and prioritise work.
• Oversee RAMM updates, quality assurance completion and accurate job close‑out.
• Identify opportunities to group work and improve productivity.
• Monitor costs and programme performance against budgets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project teams.

Required profile

• Civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading delivery on infrastructure or maintenance contracts.
• Strong understanding of road maintenance practices and standards.
• Experience managing budgets, programmes and subcontractors.
• Clear communicator able to work across teams and with clients.
