LPG Maintenance Lead (Auckland/Christchurch)

About the role

Rockgas is seeking an LPG Maintenance Lead to oversee its nationwide maintenance programmes for LPG assets. Based in either Auckland or Christchurch, you will manage both planned and corrective maintenance, ensuring safety, reliability and performance across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of maintenance plans for LPG assets nationwide.
• Maintain accurate maintenance data, including monthly contractor updates in the CMMS.
• Identify performance gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Manage asset maintenance in line with the Asset Integrity Plan.
• Oversee contractor performance and relationships across the country.
• Deliver maintenance‑related projects and improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, forecasting and spend tracking.

Required profile

• Relevant trade or tertiary qualification.
• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in the LPG or related industrial sector.
• Demonstrated team leadership and strong planning, contractor and relationship management skills.
• Confidence using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all organisational levels.
