Learning Facilitator – Te Au Reka Programme

About the role

The Learning Facilitator will join the Te Au Reka programme, a national initiative to modernise New Zealand's courts and tribunals through a digital case management solution. This fixed‑term position (18 months) is based in Auckland and involves delivering high‑quality learning experiences to a wide range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate operational, technical and behavioural learning sessions both in‑person and virtually for Ministry leaders, judiciary, legal professionals and third‑party providers.
• Adapt delivery style to meet diverse learner needs and ensure relevance and impact.
• Contribute to the design and refinement of learning resources, including workshop session plans and social learning initiatives such as communities of practice.
• Travel nationally as required to support learning events.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience delivering learning or facilitation in a professional or educational setting, preferably in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Self‑managed, organised and able to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in virtual and face‑to‑face delivery methods.
