Full Stack Engineer – Remote (NZ)

About the role

This fully remote position is ideal for a seasoned full‑stack engineer based in New Zealand, preferably Auckland. You will lead the development of a personal project, handling both front‑end and back‑end work while collaborating directly with the project owner.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end web applications.
• Integrate front‑end frameworks with back‑end services.
• Define technical requirements together with the project owner.
• Write scalable, secure and efficient code.
• Debug, troubleshoot and optimise performance.
• Manage deployment processes on cloud platforms.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging full‑stack technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a full‑stack developer with a strong portfolio.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
• Based in New Zealand, ideally Auckland.
• Flexible availability to commit to a personal project.
