About the role

The Stonewood Group is seeking a Finance Professional to join its New Zealand team. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will support the company’s operational goals through financial analysis, budgeting and cost‑management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting and cost‑management to drive operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify financial opportunities and monitor expenditure.
• Develop strategies aimed at enhancing profitability.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and perform data analysis.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting and cost management.
• Strong background in risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability in financial reporting and data analysis.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in finance or property management is advantageous.

Required skills
