Farm Tour Guide – Rural Demonstrator

About the role

Join Walter Peak’s tourism team and bring guests up close to authentic rural life. As a Farm Tour Guide you will combine your passion for agriculture with excellent customer service, leading visitors through our 150‑ha farm and showcasing daily farm practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead groups on the popular farm tour, delivering engaging commentary.
• Demonstrate farm activities such as sheep shearing and dog handling.
• Assist the rural team with ground presentation and animal health maintenance.
• Support conservation initiatives, including native tree planting and education.

Required profile

• At least 1 year experience in a tourism role or farming environment.
• Comfortable speaking to groups of up to 200 people.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Team‑player attitude with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of farm life.
