English as a Second Language Teacher – China

About the role

English 1 is seeking enthusiastic ESL teachers to join its network of schools across China. You will work with young learners aged 3‑16, delivering high‑energy, interactive English lessons and contributing to a vibrant international community.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to children and early teens using English 1’s award‑winning curriculum and digital tools.
• Design and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that foster language acquisition.
• Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual growth.
• Participate in school events, cultural programs, and community activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Valid passport and clean background check.
• Genuine interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange.
• ESL certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) is a plus; sponsorship available.
