EMR/EHR Implementation Specialist

About the role

Alignerr is seeking experienced EMR/EHR Implementation Specialists to help healthcare organizations configure, deploy, and optimize electronic medical record systems such as Epic and Cerner. This remote, hourly contract role focuses on aligning digital clinical systems with real‑world workflows to enable accurate, efficient, and reliable care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rollout, system configuration, and customization of EMR/EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner) to match organizational workflows.
• Analyze clinical and administrative processes to ensure systems support efficient, compliant, and user‑friendly operations.
• Troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements, and provide ongoing support to healthcare teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective system configurations.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing or optimizing EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar).
• Strong understanding of clinical and administrative healthcare workflows.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into system configurations.
• Preferred: prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems.
