About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Employment Lawyer to join a well‑regarded national firm with a strong presence in employment law. The role provides direct client contact and the chance to deliver practical, commercially focused advice across a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Handle personal grievance claims, disputes and litigation.
• Manage restructuring and redundancy processes.
• Advise on performance management issues.
• Draft and review employment agreements.

Required profile

• 4+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Admitted to practice in New Zealand.
• Experience in employment law and/or litigation.
• Strong drafting and communication abilities.
• Commercial and pragmatic approach.
