About the role
We are seeking a mid‑level Employment Lawyer to join a well‑regarded national firm with a strong presence in employment law. The role provides direct client contact and the chance to deliver practical, commercially focused advice across a diverse client base.
Key responsibilities
- Handle personal grievance claims, disputes and litigation.
- Manage restructuring and redundancy processes.
- Advise on performance management issues.
- Draft and review employment agreements.
Required profile
- 4+ years post‑qualification experience.
- Admitted to practice in New Zealand.
- Experience in employment law and/or litigation.
- Strong drafting and communication abilities.
- Commercial and pragmatic approach.
