Digital Content Specialist – Auckland

About the role

NZ Safety Blackwoods is looking for a Digital Content Specialist to drive growth through compelling, targeted content across its website and social channels. You will blend social media strategy with optimized web content to support a seamless customer journey and increase conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish engaging content for social media, blogs, websites and email campaigns.
• Own and optimise key website areas such as landing pages, category pages and editorial articles for consistency and SEO performance.
• Develop and manage a social media calendar aligned with brand objectives, campaigns and cultural moments.
• Drive audience growth and lead generation through creative campaigns.
• Collaborate with internal experts and external partners to produce multimedia assets including video, imagery and graphics.
• Monitor content performance, analyse insights and refine strategies.
• Stay ahead of emerging formats, SEO trends, AI tools and other innovations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital content creation or a similar role.
• Strong writing and editing abilities.
• Understanding of content management systems.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and audience‑engagement strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant qualification in marketing, communications or a related field (preferred but not essential).
